Dr. Faith Mwaura, Entrepreneur in Real Estate and Environmentalist
Dr. Faith Mwaura was appointed a Director to KDC Board on 16th June 2023.
Dr. Faith Mwaura is a Passionate International Award Winning Entrepreneur with a Keen interest in Developing Superior, Affordable Housing and Communities. She has over 15 years experience both locally and in the diaspora markets. She was awarded the Best Female Real Estate Developer by KNCCI Women in Business 2019, Best Woman in Business Excellence by Women Economic Forum Amsterdam 2018 among other achievements. She is also the Founder of a Tree Planting Society called Miti Millioni that has engaged communities in hundreds of tree planting activities all over the Country.
Faith has a Doctorate in Public Administration from the London Bridge Business School, a graduate student at United States International University in Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce from Daystar University with Majors in Marketing and Business Management. She is a Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Fellow, a Distinguished Fellow of the Africa Institute Award and a recipient of the Nkurumah Transformational Leadership Medal. Her Professional Certifications include Investment & Financial Analyst and Environmental Impact Assessment and Audit Expert.
She is a Board Member of the Kenya Development Corporation and a Board of Trustees member of the Centre for Multiparty Democracy. She is a member of the Kenya Property Developers Association, Marketing Society of Kenya, Environmental Institute of Kenya and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is also deeply engaged in community development at the grassroots level on socioeconomic issues.
